Constantly striving to offer a hugely comprehensive range of products to consumers, Yamaha has expanded their famed HS series monitors with the compact HS3 and HS4 monitors, available in both black and white.
Joining their larger counterparts, as well as the Yamaha HS I-Series (install, with mounting points on the cabinets), the 3.5″ and 4.5” speaker-equipped HS3 and HS4 aren’t simply a smaller version of the industry standard speakers.

Yamaha HS Series speakers are the standard in studio monitors, trusted for many years by the world’s top audio engineers, producers, and artists. Now Yamaha has redefined their essence in a compact housing. The HS3 and HS4 are powerful tools to help create a wide range of audio content—from music production to video editing—that meets the expectations of creators who have limited space but do not want to compromise on monitoring quality.
Optimal sound tailored to your environment
The sound produced by speakers can sometimes be affected by the surrounding environment.
The rear panels of the HS3 and HS4 are equipped with ROOM CONTROL and HIGH TRIM functions that allow you to make adjustments to achieve the ideal sound for any environment, such as reducing the unneeded, exaggerated low-end that can often occur when speakers are placed next to walls.
Sound that’s always true to the original
The HS3 and H34 studio monitors embody our legacy of design excellence. No detail has been overlooked. Inside are carefully selected parts such as a high-performance class-D amplifier, a highly resilient MDF cabinet, as well as woofers and soft-dome tweeters that deliver a pure sound faithful to the source – despite their small size. The result is outstanding resolution, sound image, and depth with a flat response across all bandwidths without any colouring of the original sound.
