UA Apollo X users can now harness Apollo Monitor Correction to apply custom SoundID Reference profiles to their reference headphones, or studio monitors to correct their room’s acoustics. Calibration profiles run in realtime on Apollo’s DSP using studio-grade precision filters and alignment delays for stereo or multi-channel speaker systems. Seamless user experience (API solution) Apollo Monitor Correction seamlessly integrates with SoundID Reference, allowing users to directly apply correction profiles to Apollo X DSP in realtime, as well as simultaneous headphone correction for the ultimate monitoring experience.
This new integration works on headphones, stereo and multichannel setups. Apply correction profiles directly to your Apollo X interface and run them in realtime for stereo, surround and headphone correction using the Apollo Monitor Correction Add-on. Apollo X desktop interfaces provide DSP-based correction for stereo speakers and one headphone output. While Apollo X rackmount interfaces provide DSP correction for stereo, surround and immersive modes for speakers, as well as simultaneous correction for two headphone outputs.
Set and forget. When running SoundID Reference correction profiles directly within your Apollo X audio interface, you’ll experience better mix translation, enhanced critical listening accuracy for a truly ‘set-and-forget’ reference listening environment and improved collaboration with your artists. Enjoy high performance and low latency.
From now until December 31st, 2024, all Apollo X Gen 2 customers will receive the Apollo Monitor Correction Add-On for free, which enables them to activate the Apollo X integration with SoundID.
*Requires SoundID Reference Software and a compatible measurement microphone, available separately.
