Berlin-based UJAM has launched Voxcraft, its first dedicated vocal processing plugin, designed to help singers and producers craft distinctive, mix-ready vocals without stacking multiple plugins.
Vocals are one of the hardest things to get right in a mix – and one of the most time-consuming. Voxcraft is UJAM’s answer to that problem.
Berlin-based UJAM, the company co-founded by Hans Zimmer and Pharrell Williams, has launched Voxcraft: a creative vocal multi-effect plugin and the company’s first title dedicated entirely to vocal processing. Built for creative sound design rather than repair or cleanup, Voxcraft is designed to take raw vocal recordings, samples, and loops and turn them into something mix-ready, expressive, and distinctly your own.

The plugin opens with a voice-shaping section covering tuning correction, formant shifting, and voice multiplication – tools for defining the fundamental character of a vocal before any effects are applied. From there, a curated chain of six vocal-optimised processors handles the rest: Dynamics, Character, Filter, Delay, Reverb, and Chop, each offering multiple modes for flexible sound shaping. The result spans everything from vintage and lo-fi textures through to distorted, chopped, and futuristic vocal treatments, all within a single plugin.
Co-founder Peter Gorges was deliberate about the design approach. “To maximise flow and inspiration and eliminate frustration with technicalities, we deliberately designed the interface so there are no ‘wrong’ choices.” That philosophy is evident throughout – Voxcraft is built to keep creative momentum going rather than pulling you into technical decisions.
It’s already found fans in professional circles. Songwriter and producer Jam City – known for his work with Olivia Rodrigo, Lil Yachty, and Kelela – describes it as “truly transformative for vocals and effective on other audio sources too.”
Rounding out the package are 100 creative presets covering a wide range of vocal styles, giving users a solid jumping-off point across different genres and aesthetics. Voxcraft is available in VST2, VST3, AU2, and AAX formats for both macOS and Windows.
UJAM has form when it comes to making complex music production more accessible – the team previously developed instruments including Steinberg Hypersonic, Virtual Guitarist, and Digidesign Xpand – and Voxcraft feels like a natural extension of that ethos applied to vocal production.
