Speaking of the tour, frontman John Dwyer said “we are very pleased to finally be announcing this summer time tour in Aussie. I have nothing but fond memories from previous trips, so I’m rearing to memory make. We will be touring with double drummers (a la old school) and playing both old favourites and new heavies. We will also be bringing the infamous Nicholas Hoare on the road with us, with whom we’ve always toured. He will be maximising PAs from coast to coast with us. I will hand screen a grip of Oh Sees posters , t-shirts annnnnnd we will have LPs!

Throughout their 11 date tour, Thee Oh Sees will play alongside the likes of Blank Realm and Kitchen’s Floor in Brisbane; Kitchen’s Floor, White Lodge and Donny Love on the Gold Coast; Waxhead and Edward Thatch in Byron Bay; Straight Arrows and Leroy McQueen in Newcastle; Straight Arrows at both Sydney shows; Straight Arrows and Los Tones in Wollongong; The Living Eyes and ORB in Geelong; UV Race and Terrible Truths at the first Melbourne Show; Power and Tyrannamen at the second Melbourne show and Hideous Sun Demon at the Fremantle show.
The band will tour with a brand new lineup consisting of John Dwyer (vocals, guitar), Timothy Hellman (bass) and double drummers, Ryan Moutinho and Dan Rincon. It’s the loudest, fastest and tightest Thee Oh Sees have ever sounded.
