The Houston artist, who was last in the country back in 2018 headlining VIVID Live, is set to perform five shows at the world famous venue, making it the only stop on her visit Down Under. Given the acclaim her last shows at the Opera House received – and the fact that tickets sold out nearly instantly – we’ve got a feeling that tickets definitely won’t linger long this time around.
While we’re a little salty she’s not doing the hard yards around the country, we’re also extremely hyped at the prospect of Solange playing five shows in a row at the Opera House. Her latest album When I Get Home, like its forebearer A Seat At The Table, was a masterclass in artistic synthesis and fluidity, and given the spectacle of her recent shows in the US, it’s fair to assume that these shows might just be the highlight of 2020’s summer months.
