SLEATER-KINNEY ANNOUNCE MORE AUSTRALIAN SHOWS

SKONLINE.jpg

A product of the ‘90s Pacific Northwest riot grrrl scene, Sleater-Kinney produced seven remarkable albums in 10 years before going on indefinite hiatus in 2006. Now in 2015, some 10 years later, Corin Tucker (guitars/vocals), Carrie Brownstein (Guitar/vocals) and Janet Weiss (Drums) have returned with the high-octane, melodically rich No Cities To Love.

Regarded as powerful politically-inclined punk purveyors, the band’s legacy is one of distinction, responsible for breaking new musical ground with unique guitar interplay and vocal tenacity. In their time apart Tucker released two albums with the Corin Tucker Band, while Brownstein and Weiss released one album with Whit Flag. Now back together, it’s evident that they haven’t missed a beat.

Their video for single ‘A New Wave’ also features the characters of Bob’s Burgers – just another reason this band rocks.
