The band has announced plans to perform at one of the Seven Wonders of the World for what is guaranteed to be an unforgettable experience. RHCP will make the journey over to Egypt for the unique performance in March this year.
It’s not the first time musicians have turned the Pyramids into an unconventional venue – The Grateful Dead, Pearl Jam, Yanni, Sting and Mariah Carey have all received the opportunity to perform at the historic site.
RHCP will play the Pyramids fresh from a huge tour of Australia and New Zealand, which kicks off in Hobart on Sunday February 17. If you’re keen to make the trek over to Egypt, you can snag a ticket here.
UPDATE 14/03/19 – You can now live stream the Chili Peppers’ performance from The Pyramids of Giza from their official YouTube Channel here. It’s set to kick off at 5.00 AM on Saturday 14 March – better set your alarms for this one.
