QUEENSLAND MUSIC FESTIVAL REVEALS THEIR 2017 PROGRAM

One of the highlights from the program is a tribute to, and featurign members of, The Go-Betweens, celebrating their classic album 16 Lovers Lane with guests including Steve Kilbey, Dan Kelly, Ron S Peno, Katie and Tyrone Noonan, Kirin J Calinan as well as members of Cub Sport and Ball Park Music.

 

Other highlights include special performances from Austrian hang soloist Manu Delago, singer-songwriter Lior, Montaigne, All Our Exes Live In Texas and more. Elsewhere there will be a street festival in Nambour’s Currie Street showcasing local acts, Kate Ceberano will host an event to highlight issues surrounding domestic violence, and Clare Bowditch will host Songs That Made Me – a mentorship and performance program to aid upcoming female songwriters.
