After the sellout success of last year’s Melbourne show, Progfest is expanding to bring its cocktail of progressive acts to Australia’s east coast, announcing for the first time the festival will be brought to both Sydney and Brisbane.
Headlining the festivities are Norwegian progressive metal act Leprous, who have spent the majority of 2017 conquering stages across Europe in support of Devin Townsend. In addition to headlining Progfest, Leprous are also performing one off shows in both Adelaide and Perth in support of this year’s critically acclaimed LP Malina.
Leprous are set to be joined by some of Australia’s finest genre pushing acts, including Voyager, Alithia, Orsome Welles, Meniscus and Dyssidia, bringing a premium blend of Australian psychedelic, post-rock, space and experimental stylings to the festival. More artists are set to be added to the lineup in the upcoming weeks, so stay tuned for more updates.
