These newly announced bands join an already eclectic lineup featuring Ukraines DakhaBrakha, Ireland’s Moxie, and local contemporaries such as Pierce Brothers.
There aren’t many local, community-based festivals out there that do roots and rhythm, world music and fringe entertainment, like Port Fairy Folk Music Festival. They sold out their first two ticket releases in record time, and have once again served up a wonderfully diverse and unbelievably talented lineup.
In the lead up to its 40th anniversary, the widely-loved festival has asked past audiences to share their experiences, memories and to post photos in celebration of its long-running success.
