Following the immense success of the duo’s 2015 sophomore album Are You Alone?, Majical Clouds have released a five track EP entitled Wait & See via Matador/Remote Control Records. Vocalist Devon Welsh explains that ‘we put together this EP with songs that we recorded when we were working on Are You Alone? but which didn’t fit on that album for one reason or another… they date from different periods of time [and] despite the fact that it’s a collection of songs that didn’t make the record, I think there’s a feeling that links them all together’ .
Majical Clouds will be touring Australia with St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival in Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Freemantle. However, if you hail from either Melbourne or Sydney and you weren’t lucky enough to nab some tickets, the band’s set up sideshows to ease your deep feelings of regret.
