Bridges will take his deft mix of baroque soul and neo-RnB to Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane in January for his fourth trip to Australia in two years, since the first in 2016 with Falls Festival. Joining Bridges will be US-singer-songwriter Noah Kahan, who has recently enjoyed Platinum ARIA success with his single ‘Hurt Somebody’ featuring Julia Michaels.
Bridges has been enveloped in dizzying praise ever since the release of his first record Coming Home in 2015, earning him two Grammy nods for Best RnB Album and a performance at Barack Obama’s White House Birthday alongside none other than Stevie Wonder. Good Thing came out May this year to similarly shimmering praise, and continued to power his global touring circuit, supporting Harry Styles in South America.
Bridges will play The Palais Theatre in Melbourne Monday 14th January, Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion Thursday 17th January and Brisbane’s Tivoli Saturday 19th January. Tickets onsale 11am Monday 17th September via Ticketmaster.
