The self-called LA ‘slob-girl’ group, who formed way back in 1985, will be trekking around the country next May in support of their recent full-length offering Scatter The Rats, released this year on Joan Jett’s Blackheart label. L7 are acclaimed today as one of alt-rock’s most important acts, blending sludge-metal with raucous punk rock influences to create a grimy hybrid of alt-rock which went on to become known as grunge.
