The announcement comes after the face-painted rockers sold out their Friday night show at Rod Laver in its entirety, with their final Australian show locked in for Saturday November 30.
In a statement accompanying the announcement, Gene Simmons shared his sentiment at the prospect of waving goodbye to loyal Australian factions of the Kiss Army, stating “This is a bittersweet moment. We love Australia. And Aussies have been so kind to us over the years. But now is the time. We want to go out on top. And we promise to give you the show of shows, and appreciation for all the love you’ve shown us for so many years. We love you, Australia.”
The End Of The Road tour brings an end to an impressive four decades of touring Down Under for Kiss, with the group first visiting the country back in 1980 at the height of KissTeria. With their latest tour being billed as one of their most spectacular productions to date – a bold statement given Kiss’s ludicrous onstage antics over the years – don’t miss this last opportunity to rock n’ roll all night and party every day with one of the longest enduring rock groups of all time.
