Released back in June 2009 (technically eleven years – but we’re not whinging), Sound Awake immortalised Karnivool as a force to be reckoned with on Australian soil, seeing them explore new sonics and elevating them a notch above their epic debut effort Themata. The band have been pretty persistent on the touring circuit as of late – last year saw them lap up the East Coast for Good Things Festival and on their own tour – so we’re hoping next time around they’ll have a new album in tow as well.
