Along for the ride with these two classic Australian acts are American singer-songwriter Richard Marx, Russel Morris – the man behind iconic Aussie track ‘The Real Thing’ – and recently reunited pop duo Bachelor Girl, as they travel to four wineries across the country to treat punters to a day of belting out bangers. There will definitely be a performance of Braithwaite’s ‘The Horses’, which will likely be able to be heard in the surrounding townships if the dramatic rise in volume levels every time the track comes on over the sound system of your local pub is any indicator.
McLaren Vale, the Hunter Valley, Mt. Cotton and the Yarra Valley will in turn play host to Farnsy playing all the best tracks off his 1986 album Whispering Jack – an album that to this day still holds the record for the highest selling album by an Australian artist at close to 1.7 million sales. The LP spent an unbelieveable 25 weeks at the top spot on the Australian charts, going 24 times platinum and being the first Australian album to crack one million sales – and how could it not with songs like ‘Pressure Down’, ‘Touch Of Paradise’, and the unofficial national anthem ‘You’re The Voice’?
