With a long-time affiliation with the Melbourne city, Cat Power recorded her fourth album, Moon Pix, at Richmond’s Sing Sing Studios. Turning into a life transformative record, the release saw her attain mainstream success.
Released in 2012, Sun featured singles including ‘Ruin’ and ‘Cherokee’ and debuted at #10 on the US Billboard Charts and #2 on the Billboard’s Alternative and Independent Charts.
From two acclaimed shows at The Forum to co-headlining the much-loved Golden Plains Festival, Cat Power is certainly comfortable performing on Australian shores.
