Joining the already exciting line-up will be Blind Boy Paxton (USA) who’s renowned for his ability to transport audiences back to the 1920’s by singing pre World War Two blues. Adding to the already impressive performance line-up will be “I Feel Like Going Back”. After a sell-out show at the Darebin Music Feast, the group has re-worked their show which is now titles “Goin’ Back”.
Australian act, Hat Fitz & Cara and their foot stomping, hill-style blues, featuring washboards and quick-talking soul vocals will also be at the festival. Supporting the pair will be Suzannah Espie with her alt-country rock album ‘Mothers Not Feeling Herself Today’.
Brunswick Music Festival will also be incorporating local restaurants and cafés in the fun. Pairing music and food will be Rumi Lebanese Dinner & Show, a traditional live music and belly dance performance alongside a banquet of Lebanese cuisine.
Previously announced acts include Alsarah and the Nubatones, Emma Donovan and the PutBacks, Jess Ribeiro, Mia Dyson, Mountain Moch Killimanjaro, Spiro, Moxie, Shane Howard Trio, Djuki Mala, Yirrmal and Manran.
