Alice Cooper announces 2020 Australian tour

The shock rocker, who was last in the country back in 2017, will be showcasing his all-new “Ol’ Black Eyes Is Back” show across ten days in February next year. He’ll be bringing local hard rock authorities Airbourne along for the ride, as well as MC50, which sees Wayne Kramer perform the best of MC5 alongside a band of seasoned musicians including guitarist Kim Thayil (Soundgarden), drummer Brendan Canty (Fugazi), bassist Doug Pinnick (King’s X), and frontman Marcus Durant (Zen Guerrilla).

Now entering the fifth decade of his longstanding career, Cooper certainly shows no signs of slowing down with age – which is obviously a blessing for the rock world. The “Ol’ Black Eyes Is Back” tour will see him not only revive the character of FrankenAlice, but also introduces the new guise of the Billion Dollar Baby, as well as a totally revamped setlist featuring a healthy dose of deep cuts, classics and new material. Needless to say, we aren’t worthy.

Check out all the tour dates below – tickets for the general public go on sale Wednesday August 21, but if you’re sneaky, you can nab some presale tickets via Telstra this Thursday.
