With Sydney punk stalwarts Frenzal Rhomb sitting pretty atop of the bill, Day Of Clarity also features stellar live acts such as The Hard Aches, Mindsnare and the inimitable Tropical Fuck Storm. Adelaide favourites such as Hightime, Bec Stevens, Mere Women and High Tension are also included on the bill, as well as a stack of other local bands and afterparty DJs.
In a statement for the festival, Clarity Records’ Matt Horvath highlighted the importance of keeping Adelaide’s healthy live music scene from growing stagnant, saying, “It’s important Adelaide has an event that has a strong focus on local music and recognises the venues that help keep live music thriving in Adelaide. A Day Of Clarity is our way of giving back to a community of music lovers.”
Taking place over eight stages, A Day Of Clarity is set to go down on Saturday June 23, with free entry for all punters. Check out the Facebook event page for more details.
