The Corsair is Schecter’s semi-hollow offering, with a slightly offset semi-hollow body and a 34” scale length. The neck profile is a Thin C, and a reasonably modern 16” fretboard radius. All three models are hardtail and features EMG TBHZ pickups, the Corsair having controls for master volume, a blend control and a two-band active EQ.

The two solid-body offerings, both Ultra Spitfire models, have active EMG TBHZ with two volumes and one tone control. The “Lion & Rose” model comes with Schecter-branded tuners, mahogany/walnut through-neck with a Thin C shape, while the slightly more expensive Simon Gallup Ultra Red comes with Grover tuners and a maple/walnut through neck. The back of the Simon Gallup Ultra Red reads “Age and treachery will overcome youth and skill”.

The basses are available now, allowing you to harness the unique, post-punk and new wave tones that continue to make Simon Gallup an influential player in the bottom end to this day. Unique in looks, specs and construction, the new Simon Gallup basses from Schecter will have heads turning as much for their sonics as their aesthetics!
