The metalcore heavyweights will hit Queensland, NSW, Tasmania, Victoria and South Australia this February with In Hearts Wake and Redhook in tow.

Regional Australia, your time has come. The Amity Affliction are heading off an extensive 21-date tour kicking off this month, bringing metalcore to towns that don’t always get the big-name treatment. With support from In Hearts Wake and Redhook, the tour will span Queensland, NSW, Tasmania, Victoria and South Australia, hitting everywhere from Cairns to Adelaide.

Catch up on all the latest news here.

Following the unfortunate cancellation of Park Waves festival, the tour gives fans in regional centres another opportunity to catch the band before they head back to the US for an April tour. It’s welcome news for punters who’ve been waiting to see The Amity Affliction in its new form, featuring bassist and vocalist Jonny Reeves.

Reeves made his debut on the band’s latest single ‘All That I Remember’, released earlier this year to widespread support from industry and fans alike. For many across the country, this will be their first chance to experience the refreshed lineup live.

Over the past two decades, The Amity Affliction have cemented themselves as one of Australia’s premier heavy acts. With eight studio albums deep (including five that hit number one on the ARIA Charts), seven ARIA nominations, countless sold-out tours across Australia, the US, UK and Europe, and over one billion streams, the numbers speak for themselves. But it’s the connection with fans that sets them apart. As one live review put it: “You can see how much this band means to their fans—they covet these anthems.”
