Synapse Audio have released an update to their Dune synthesiser with version 3.5 now including a new patch browser and a built-in automatic patch creator, polyphonic aftertouch, Apple M1 support, and more.

The update starts with a new VST 3 version for the plugin that is joint by full native support for Apple M1 machines.

Even less CPU is used than in the Rosetta 2 emulation allowing for better memory usage, as the developer claims each new plugin instance now chews through a lot less memory than version 3.4.

Synapse has increased the initial polyphony from 16 to 24, and has also introduced a new patch browser with sound banks and categories, with a new genetics function that allows you to create new patches from existing ones.

Synapse Audio Dune 3.5 is a free update for existing customers of Dune 3.The regular price is 159€ (approx. AU$253).
