The parlor guitar is back with a new look.
Parlor-sized acoustic guitars aren’t as popular as they used to be, but never the less, PRS Guitars are charging forward with their SE P20E guitar, which is now available in Lotus Pink in limited numbers.

- The guitar features PRS hybrid “X”/Classical bracing which allows the top to freely vibrate.

For those unfamiliar, the PRS SE P20E parlor acoustic is a small form factor guitar that is light and provides manoeuvrability with ease. There’s a unique bracing system for the top wood panel which allows it to freely vibrate, giving off a big tone from the small guitar. Even though the guitar is small, it features a wide fat neck shape that allows for smooth playing across the fretboard while still allowing those with smaller hand sizes to feel comfortable.
“This guitar should not be typecast as a ‘couch guitar’ – it is equally at home on stage,” said Jack Higginbotham, COO PRS Guitars. “These guitars are also unique tools for writing, home-recording, and getting lost in playing for hours without ending up with a sore strumming shoulder. The P20E’s unique voice has a way of taking your music in a different direction.”
This new colourway follows PRS releasing John Mayer’s signature guitar in pink, and although this is a softer, and muted colour, is still pretty neat. There will be less than 2500 of the SE P20E Parlor guitar in lotus pink available worldwide and you can go snag one right now.
