The device latches on to any floating tremolo systems and can be used with a whole range of different attachments, including the company’s own Palm-O-Low. It creates a Bigsby-style look and sound, which is quite different to that which can be produced by a typical whammy bar.
The Trem-O-Dapter provides a more subtle wobble to the sound than a whammy bar, as illustrated in the video below, which can give guitarists more options when it comes to subtle sound changes. There are no worries about keeping the guitar in tune, with a centre pivot doing that job, whilst two screws are used to actually attach to the guitar’s bridge.
