Similar to that of the Power Wah, Power Wah Volume and Bad Horsie Wah (which we reviewed last month!), the new Lead Wah, Wah Boost and Wah Lock units from Morley feature glow-in-the-dark logos, 20/20 buffers, noiseless switching and a downsized, pedalboard friendly enclosure.
Leading the pack (ha) is the Morley 20/20 Lead Wah, which is predominantly aimed at those playing high-gain styles. It boasts a huge sweep which is perfect for filtering through high-octane modern metal tones, giving you a huge solo tone to slice through the mix. Similarly, the Morley 20/20 Wah Boost lets you dial in up to +20 dB of clean boost with a wide sweep, accentuating your midrange to really juice your solos up without getting gross and gritty.
Lastly, the MTG3 20/20 Wah Lock looks to add something a bit different to the 20/20 series by adding in a Whoa feature, shifting the envelope drastically to create a deep, throaty wah sound. This one also boasts the titular Wah Lock mode, emulating a fixed position to let you nail that secret sweet spot with your solo tones.
