Moog are reissuing the Model 10 modular synthesiser

Designed by Bob Moog himself way back in 1971, the Model 10 was the predecessor to the better-known Model 15, and places an emphasis on speed and simplicity while still retaining the immersive sonic possibilities you’d come to expect from a Moog unit. The Model 10 features a total of eleven analogue modules patched together, including three 900-series oscillators and a 907 Fixed Filter Bank.

Each unit is set to be handmade by Moog to faithfully resemble the Model 10’s original specifications, with the company claiming that they’ll also be hand stuffing, soldering and finishing these synths with traditional wiring methods. To top it all off, the Model 10 will be housed in a durable Tolex covered wooden cabinet, and will feature an aluminium faceplate for a big baller appearance.

Check out the full list of modules included in the Model 10 below – these units are only available for a limited time in extremely limited quantities, so if you’re keen, you better get in quick.
