The Lenny Colour Boost is the newest addition to J. Rockett’s Tour Series of pedals, which was designed the influence of a host of top Nashville and LA touring artists to address their needs on the road.
Lenny was first designed with the intention of recreating the Dumble Steel String Singer tone in a compact stompbox, but J. Rocket soon realised that there was no need to include a loud, clean amp sound in a pedal.
After all, it was Stevie Ray Vaughan who made the legendary amp come alive, and with that said, Lenny was born. Lenny recreates the way SRV pushed the Steel String Singer to create colour, texture and feel. To put it simply, Lenny is a very musical boost the will considerably colour your tone. There is a definite mid character, but it will cut through a mix.
