It’s a wild looking guitar, with sweet curves and a rich mahogany body. A great variety in tone and a bold sonic sensibility is delivered by dual Guild LB-1 Little Bucker pickups. Like Guild’s original humbuckers it can land sharper single-coil cleans, and rounder humbucker warmth that responds well to drive.
There’s the option to switch between rhythm and lead modes, pickup on/off switches, volume and tone controls. The ability to engage an optional tone capacitor and, thus, deliver single-coil character while upholding hum-free dependability, is just what the doctor ordered.
It also comes with a Hagstrom Vintage Tremar, the reissue of the vibrato system found on Guild’s ’60s solidbodies ensuring you can really make those bends and vibratos sing. The vintage design is then rounded out with an old-school C-shape set mahogany neck, bound rosewood fingerboard and Grover Sta-Tite tuning machines.
