Based on Crow’s own Gibson that she’s been touring and recording with for years, the Sheryl Crow signature Country Western Supreme combines the crisp, sweet voicing of the classic Country Western design with Gibson’s 1930’s Advanced Bracing Pattern for a punchy, demanding tone. The guitar boasts a beautiful Thermally Aged Sitka spruce top with hide glue and mahogany back and sides, injecting an extra dynamic dose to really make this guitar an expressive, articulate instrument.
The Sheryl Crow Country Western Supreme is also fitted with a premium Amulet M analogue pickup controlled via the soundhole, complementing the crisp tones of the Sitka spruce top when plugged in. Gibson claim that the Sheryl Crow Country Western Supreme is the “most highly customised Country Western” in the brand’s history, and it really does look like quite a sight to behold, particularly with the natural grain of the wood peeking through its Antique Cherry finish.
Check out how this deluxe acoustic sounds in the video above. Although these guitars don’t come cheap, they do come with a custom hardcase and Certificate of Authenticity, and every model will be hand-signed by the country queen herself. Yee – and I can not stress this enough – haww.
