While Fender’s last iteration of the Meteora included Telecaster-styled pickups and a ’70s inspired maple neck with block inlays, the 2019 Meteora HH provides guitarists with a rock-steady, reliable solution to gigging with dual Player humbuckers and a pau ferro fretboard.
The humbuckers can be toggled via the Meteora’s two volume controls and a push/pull knob to split the coils. Elsewhere, the Meteora features an alder body, a Modern-C neck profile and an Adjust-o-matic string-thru bridge. Check out how it sounds below.
The Meteora HH is available in three finishes: Lake Placid Blue, Surf Green and Candy Apple Red, and can be purchased now.
