Ernie Ball Music Man debut April BFR models

This month’s collection spotlights Ernie Ball Music Man’s penchant for creating quirky designs with distinctive appointments, acting as “a celebration of the company’s heritage in instrument craftsmanship.” Check out the specs for each model below.

StingRay Brilliant Blue

Limited to only 52 models worldwide, the April BFR StingRay boasts a lightweight okoume body and a sparkling custom Brilliant Blue finish, which gives it quite a dazzling appearance. It’s also got pristine appointments such as an ebony fretboard with pearloid block inlays and a roasted figured maple neck, as well as Ernie Ball electronics and more.

Majesty Gremlin Sparkle

This is honestly the funniest guitar name I think I’ve ever seen, but all jokes aside, it looks like a crazy instrument. The April Majesty is finished from top to bottom in a unique Gremlin Sparkle finish, including the back of the neck, and is fitted with all-black hardware for a staunch appearance, even doing away with the regular first fret Majesty inlay. It also features a tremolo cover hand-signed by Dream Theater’s John Petrucci, and is limited to 89 models worldwide.

Cutlass Scarlett Red

Finally, the BFR Cutlass model for April provides classic Stratocaster aesthetics with a bespoke twist, decking the body out with a hand-fitted white binding and a matching headstock. It’s finished in polyester Scarlet Red, boasts a satin-finished figured roasted maple neck and maple fretboard, and is limited to a scant 51 models worldwide.
