Epiphone will debut its biggest lineup in years at Summer NAMM

The brand has shared details of a whopping 21 guitars set to be introduced at NAMM, spanning acoustic-electric, electric archtop, and solid body electric models.

Electric-acoustic:

AJ-200SCE

With a solid spruce top, Shadow preamp system, and a Mahogany Burst finish.

 

AJ-220S

Boasting updates of a solid mahogany top and Mahogany Burst finish.

 

EJ-200SCE

Adding a solid spruce top and Shadow e-Sonic-II stereo pickup system to Epiphone’s legendary Jumbo 200.

 

HUMMINGBIRD UKULELE OUTFIT

A solid sitka spruce top and under saddle pickup feature on this tenor ukulele, designed in a vintage Hummingbird style.

 

LES PAUL UKULELE OUTFIT

Taking the historic Les Paul aesthetic and applying it to a tenor ukulele, complete with an under saddle piezo pickup.

 

SST COUPE

The SST Coupe reduces the size of the iconic “solid body” steel string acoustic guitar to offer enhanced portability. Features include a chambered body, a Shadow Panoramic SH-148-HD pickup system with string panning and EQ, and a headphone output.

 

CE COUPE

A Shadow Panoramic pickup acoustic system features on this recreation of a solid body, travel-sized classical model.

 

Electric archtop:

BROADWAY

First produced in the 1940’s, this historic archtop has been revived with Alnico Classic humbuckers and a new Vintage Natural finish.

 

CASINO

Favoured by the likes of The Beatles, Keith Richards, and Radiohead, this Epiphone archtop features P-90 pickups and a new Turquoise finish.

 

CASINO COUPE

Downsizing the classic model to an ES-339-inspired “coupe” sized body, with full-power P-90 single coil pickups.

 

LTD. ED. DOT DELUXE

Adding Alnico Classic pickups and a new Aquamarine finish to the historic “335” archtop.

 

ES-339 PRO

Powered by Alnico Classic PRO humbuckers with coil-splitting, this model is a travel-size ES/thin line archtop.

 

SHERATON II PRO

Offering a range of new colours, this ES-style archtop guitar also features pearl and abalone inlay, gold hardware, and ProBuckers humbuckers.

 

JOE PASS EMPEROR II PRO

A Vintage Natural finish, ProBuckers with coil splitting, and Grover tuners feature on this model designed with jazz icon Joe Pass.

G-400 PRO

Alnico Classic PRO humbuckers with coil splitting power this historic “SG” solid body.

Boasting Gibson 490R/498T humbuckers and a quilt maple top.

One of the most beloved models revived with a mahogany body and Alnico Classic humbuckers.

With a host of new colours, the Plustop PRO also offers a AAA flame maple top, vintage-voiced ProBucker humbuckers, and Grover tuners.

A lightweight Les Paul that’s big on tone and features Alnico Classical Open-Coil humbuckers with a variety of new finishes on offer.

Features include a carved hard maple top, Gibson USA ’57 Classic humbuckers with series-parallel switching, and Grover locking tuners.

 

LES PAUL ULTRA III

More new colours are on offer here, plus ProBucker and Shadow NanoMag pickups with mono, stereo, and USB outputs for what Epiphone has dubbed “the Les Paul of the future.”
