Epiphone unveils Jason Hook signature M-4 Explorer

The garish and distinctive red M-4 Sherman paint scheme isn’t the only modification to this classic model, with an arm-cut on the top horn of the body to provide a more comfortable arm rest, and a deeper cut in the lower horn for easier access to the upper frets.

From a spec perspective, this signature model boasts a bunch of upgrades from the stock models. The 12″ radius Granadilla fingerboard on top of the custom SlimTaper neck profile are standout features and further examples of the attention to ergonomic detail for James Hook’s Explorer. With beefier tone provided by the two Seymour Duncan humbuckers – a vintage ’59 in the neck and a JB in the bridge, and volume knobs for each pickup and a master tone in the control layout, it’s quite a hefty guitar for fans of Five Finger Death Punch or any of Jason Hook’s work.

If you want to get your hands on one of these, Epiphone is distributed in Australia via Australian Musical Imports.
