Offering glitch-free pitch shifting over three octaves, the Slammi Plus hosts the ability to tranpose up, down and both simultaneously, acting as a versatile performance tool for musicians looking to emulate basslines or higher register figures. The pedal also hosts an 11 position shift switch to flick between different transposition intervals, including Minor 2nd, Major 2nd, Minor 3rd, Major 3rd, Perfect 4th, Perfect 5th, Major 6th, one octave, two octaves and three octaves.
The EHX Slammi Plus’s dual output mode also offers the possibility to project two seperate pitch-shifted intervals simultaneously, as well as an X-fade function that fixes the interval to cancel out any unnessessary pitch bends to allow for seamless interval transistions.
In addition, the Slammi features a Blend function to control your wet/dry mix, as well as chorus, detune and doubling effects for use while shifting up or down with the pedal. While there’s currently no word on when we’ll see these in Australia, stay tuned for any updates – this pedal looks like it could make big waves.
Electro-Harmonix is distributed in Australia through Lamberti Brothers.
