The YouTube star known as ‘Davie504’ has already mastered bass solos with one string and zero strings, garnering a whole lot of buzz from the Internet’s music and gearhead community.
This time around he was challenged by a fan to play a solo tuned to abcdefg. A challenge he answered with flying colours, making use of booming overdrive, slaps, plucks and a willingness to use the whole neck in a two-minute display of pure bass expression.
On Davie’s YouTube channel it reads: “Hi all, I’m an Italian guy who wants to share his passion for the music, by uploading bass grooves, jams, arrangements, etc.. I’m 21 and I love Funky music…”
