Audio Vivid support

Audio Vivid is the headline addition. Developed by the UHD World Association (UWA), it’s the world’s first AI-powered immersive audio codec standard. Creators can precisely position and move sound objects in three-dimensional space, with mixes that preserve intent across any playback environment, from headphones to multi-speaker setups.

Pro Tools Studio and Ultimate users can access Audio Vivid through the Audio Vivid Production Suite for direct mixing and rendering inside sessions. The format supports multiple immersive mixes within a single project, letting engineers quickly deliver for film, television, music, home theatres, and in-vehicle entertainment without creating separate sessions.

Bounce Factory Lite integration

Mix delivery is has gotten faster through Bounce Factory Lite, now appearing directly in the Edit Window via SoundFlow. Created by Andrew Scheps, Bounce Factory has become an industry standard for bouncing mixes, stems, and deliverables. Every Pro Tools user now has instant access without switching applications or complex routing. This builds on Avid’s SoundFlow partnership from earlier in 2025, which added over 1,700 free macros and AI assistance for automating repetitive tasks like stem bouncing, track creation, and session navigation.

New Inner Circle rewards

Inner Circle members (annual subscribers and perpetual license holders with active plans) receive four new tools: Audio Brewers’ ab Decoder HOA Express for Ambisonics decoding, Axart Labs’ AutoBeat Lite MIDI beat engine, Safari Pedals’ Time Machine vintage tone emulator, and Wave Alchemy’s Triaz Player with 8,000+ samples.

ARA plugin expansion

Three new ARA integrations expand Pro Tools’ plugin ecosystem: VoiceWunder for speech synthesis in 74 languages, VOIS for voice-to-instrument conversion, and Vovious for vocal tuning with multi-track support and colour-coded pitch display.

Between Audio Vivid’s immersive capabilities, Bounce Factory’s streamlined delivery, and expanded ARA support, this release reinforces Pro Tools’ position as a platform built for modern production demands. Whether you’re mixing Dolby Atmos for streaming, delivering stems for film, or just trying to finish projects faster, Pro Tools 2025.12 is for you.
