NUGEN Audio is heading to the 2026 Media Production & Technology Show with updated versions of three of its key post-production tools, including the debut of DialogCheck v1.1.

NUGEN Audio is taking over Stand F40 at MPTS 2026 in London to debut DialogCheck Version 1.1 alongside demonstrations of MasterCheck 2 and Halo Vision Version 1.2. For post-production engineers, broadcast teams and QC specialists, there’s quite a bit to dig into across all three.

Catch up on all the latest news here.

DialogCheck is NUGEN’s intelligent dialogue intelligibility and compliance tool, and version 1.1 adds useful updates for anyone working in immersive audio. Surround support now extends up to 9.1.6 channels, covering a broader range of 3D and immersive formats common in narrative and streaming productions. There’s also a new Session Timeline Offset feature, which lets users set a custom timecode for when analysis should begin — handy for projects that don’t start at zero, and for editorial environments where timeline alignment matters. The offline AudioSuite interface has also been tidied up, showing only what’s relevant to offline processing rather than the full suite of controls.

MasterCheck 2 is the other major highlight. NUGEN has rebuilt the plug-in from the ground up for improved performance, stability and compatibility with current production environments. Support now extends to 7.1.4 channels, so engineers can audition loudness normalisation and codec behaviour across immersive and surround formats, including Dolby Atmos beds. The platform preset library has been expanded to cover a wider range of streaming services, and the interface has been redesigned to be resizable, with both portrait and landscape views — a practical improvement for anyone juggling multiple screens or DAW layouts.

Rounding out the lineup is Halo Vision v1.2, an update to NUGEN’s real-time audio analysis suite. Building on the original’s visual toolset across up to 7.1.2 channels, the new version adds a frequency graph with dB and peak point displays, real-time readouts at the mouse cursor and a freeze function that pauses all visual activity across the plug-in’s modules. The readout and freeze features in particular are the sort of additions that become second nature quickly once you’ve used them.

NUGEN Audio will run hands-on demonstrations of all three tools throughout MPTS 2026. The show runs in London, and the company can be found at Stand F40.
