Nembrini Audio has launched Tone Craft Modular Studio, a standalone and plugin platform designed to give guitarists, bassists and producers total control over how they craft, route and perform their tones.

Anyone who’s spent serious time tweaking a pedalboard knows the rabbit hole well, and Tone Craft Modular Studio is essentially that obsession in plugin form.

Tone Craft works as both a standalone application and a plugin within your DAW. Nembrini Audio, known for more than a decade of meticulous guitar amp and effects modelling, has built this as a unified environment where users can combine an integrated set of modules with their existing Nembrini Audio plugins to shape guitar and bass tones the way they want.

Catch up on all the latest news here.

The integrated module set covers effects, inputs, outputs and routing tools, so there’s no need to patch in third-party solutions to complete a signal chain. Routing options are thorough — a Splitter divides a single audio signal, a Splitter Crossover splits incoming audio into two separate streams, and a Mixer combines two signal paths back into one output. AUX Input and AUX Output round things out for more complex setups.

Where Tone Craft gets particularly useful for live use is the Scene system. Each preset can hold up to eight Scenes, each carrying its own module states and routing, switchable manually or via MIDI Program Change Messages for instant recall mid-performance. All parameters across loaded modules are fully automatable within a DAW and MIDI controllable, which makes it a serious option for both studio production and live rigs.

The Master section operates globally across all scenes in a preset, meaning your final processing and overall tonal character stay consistent no matter which scene you jump to. It’s a small detail that makes a big difference when you’re moving between patches on stage.

A free version is available for users who already own compatible Nembrini Audio plugins, offering basic features and modules to get started.

Tone Craft Modular Studio is available now for desktop. For more information, head here to Nembrimi Audio.
