An upgrade of their original iD44, a popular USB 24-bit/96kHz audio interface, the iD44 MkII boasts a whole range of new features, wrapped up in a smoke-grey finish.
These include upgraded A/D converters, giving the iD44 MkII’s harmonic noise and distortion figures increase by 9dB. As well as this, audio loop-back and a dual headphone output give this model the upper hand over its predecessor.
With new converters, the iD44 MkII is perfect for desktop mixing, with high-rate audio performance. Moreover, the interface’s four Audient Console microphone preamps deliver on low noise and distortion with the warmth of analogue.
Two pairs of Toslink connectors give users 16 channels of I/O expansion via ADAT expandability, making the device adapt for digital connection. The power source is delivered with an external PSU.
The device’s audio loop-back allows users to capture playback from separate applications on your computer simultaneously with your microphone. With this, you can craft your own custom audio feed, making the iD44 MkII ideal for streamers, content creators and podcasters.
