The track is the first single off their upcoming LP ‘The Waiting Room’, set for release next year. It will be the outfit’s first full release since their critically acclaimed release of ‘The Something Rain’ in 2012.
From peaceful melodies to distorted soundscapes, the first single gives listeners a glimpse of what to expect from the upcoming release. Featuring appearances by Jenny Beth (Savages) and Lhasa De Sala, ‘The Waiting Room’ breathes gravity as Tindersticks continue to perfect their craft.
The industrial themed video clip accompanying the track is the beginning of an audio and visual collaborative piece that will coincide with the albums release. Each single will be accompanied by a short film, each with its own director. Stay tuned to hear, and see, what Tindersticks have in store for us.
