If the name Chris Hadfield rings a bell, it’s probably because you saw his cover of the recently deceased David Bowie’s ‘Space Oddity’ on YouTube. The worthy rendition went viral quickly, which isn’t really surprising, because he’s playing it in space. If that sounds like a feat, he also recorded an entire album on his 160 day expedition entitled Space Sessions: Songs From A Tin Can. That’s right guys, he did it first. The dream is over.

If playing the guitar in space sounds like something that’ll probably happen to you one day, you should watch Hadfield outline the difficulties he faced whilst embarking on this wild endeavour. Apparently you can prepare for your big space debut by playing guitar while standing on your head. Don’t ask me… he’s the expert.
