All the guest stars contribute backing vocals to the chorus while Lukather’s guitar riff and McCartney’s bass are also featured on the track. The collaboration marks a studio reunion for Starr and McCartney, who last worked together on Starr’s 2010 album, Y Not. Starr teased the reunion with his former Beatles bandmates back in February via Twitter.

‘We’re on the Road Again’ is taken from Starr’s 19th solo album, Give More Love, which is due for a September release. Starr announced the album during celebrations for his 77th birthday earlier this month.
