Overnight, Hill appeared on the Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon where she covered the Nina Simone classic ‘Feeling Good.’
The performance was set up to promote the release of a Nina Simone tribute album, Nina Revisited: A Tribute To Nina Simone, but the performance couldn’t have come at a better time for promoters of the festival, with this performance likely to persuade punters who were unsure about picking up a ticket to head down to the festival.
Tickets are still available for Soulfest 2015, which has earmarked itself as ‘Australia’s first annual neo-Soul, Jazz and Hip Hop festival.’ The festival will be stopping off in both Melbourne and Sydney. You can listen to a spotify playlist that features the entire 2015 lineup here.
