The new track sizzles with filthy guitar riffs and explosive drums, the husk of energised vocals soaring over the below distortion. The band won a Juno award in 2013 for Breakthrough Artist of the Year with their debut album Furiosity, and hasn’t looked like slowing down since.
With nods of appreciation from the likes of Slash and Alice in Chain’s Mike Inez, and tours with Nickelback, Deep Purple, ZZ Top and others, Monster Truck has found a winning formula recognised for its booming intensity and dedication to raucous riffs.
Earlier this year the four-piece toured Australia alongside Nickelback and with the release of their new album on the cards for early 2016, another night of all out head-banging down under can’t be too far away.
