On the topic of the new signing, REMI states, “They represent the diversity and multi-faceted creativity of Melbourne. It doesn’t matter where you hail from in music, as long as you stay true and keep it real.”
It’s refreshing to see a local hip-hop collective embrace diversity and reflect the multicultural fabric of Australia, following on from Ellefant Traks signing the likes of Jimblah and L-FRESH the LION.
The hip hop duo, who harness their connection with the sounds of Brazil to create boundary-pushing tunes, are set to release their debut EP in early 2016. The first taste is their debut single, ‘Master Plan’, which now has an intensely urban clip, featuring the industrial backdrop of Melbourne’s docklands.
