The critically acclaimed punks, who have been celebrated for their efforts in exposing problematic sexist behaviours within the punk scene, have announced that ‘Marxist Mercedes’ will see a physcial release later this year as part of a 7″ single on Friday August 2. The record is set for release via Partisan Records, and will feature ‘I Dream Guillotine’ as the B-Side.
Recorded in the same sessions used for last year’s Joy As An Act Of Resistance, ‘Marxist Mercedes’ is driven by angular guitars and a pounding drum and bass groove, with singer Joe Talbot’s voice bearing a gritiness that really just makes you want to revolt. Listen to the new track below.
