Foals confirm release date for Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost Part 2

Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost – Part 2 is slated for an October 18 release, seven months since Part 1 dropped in March.

Check out a 30-second clip of the new album below:

The two-parter album comes after a four year wait between releases for Foals, and the band couldn’t wittle down their list into a single 12 track album, so decided to drop it in two parts. Genius.

Keyboardist Edwin Congreave told us back in March that the concept of a double album was “something we’ve always talked about,” stating that “When we’re writing for weeks on end, we end up with a lot of new songs more often than not. We’ll want to record and release all of them, and that’s usually when someone from the label shows up and suggests that we just release the ten best ones instead. This time around, however, something was different. Our manager heard the songs and saw what we saw – that they were all great. As soon as he suggested doing two albums, it was just a green light from there.”

Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost – Part 2 will be available for preorder from today.
