Amyl & the Sniffers release ‘Control’ live at the Croxton

Amyl & the Sniffers are halfway through an Australian headline tour. They’ll check in to Sydney, Newcastle, Geelong and Melbourne over the next few weekends having already torn through Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.

The live favourites surprise announced the upcoming 7″ midway through the tour. Live at the Croxton will include the just-released ‘Control’ along with ‘Gacked on Anger’ and ‘Shake Ya’. All three tracks appeared on the band’s self-titled debut album in 2019.

“This song’s about me being a boss,” says singer Amy Taylor at the start of the ‘Control’ recording. She comes good on the self-declaration in the live video, completely owning the jam packed Croxton Bandroom. Check it out here.

The EP is set for release on Friday May 1 via ATO Records and Rough Trade. The band’s Australian label, Flightless, will also have copies of the US 7″ available on their web-store.

Amyl & the Sniffers will return to the scene of the crime when they headline the Croxton Bandroom again on Saturday March 28. Hit up the band’s website for the full list of tour dates.
