MONO has added Acoustic/Electric and Semi-Hollow/Electric configurations to its M80 Classic Ultra range, bringing rolling transport and premium protection to musicians who travel with mixed instrument setups.
If you’re regularly hauling both an acoustic and an electric to a gig, you’ll know it’s a bit of a pain to deal with two separate cases.
MONO has the ultimate solution. The Singapore-based gear brand has expanded its M80 Classic Ultra lineup with two new dual cases: the M80 Classic Ultra Dual Acoustic/Electric and the M80 Classic Ultra Dual Semi-Hollow/Electric. Both configurations have been available in MONO’s range for some time, but this update brings them in line with the rest of the Classic Ultra platform, which launched in August last year.

The headline addition is MONO’s patented Freeride® Wheel System – an attachable rolling setup designed to handle any terrain, which makes a real difference when you’re navigating through airports, venues, or anywhere else where you’re neck and shoulders would strain. Each case also features the Headlock® neck suspension system, updated here to support both instruments independently, with a discreet pouch built in for a tracker tag (anyone who’s ever watched their gear disappear onto a baggage carousel knows how important this is).

Construction is 1680D ballistic nylon with waterproof zipper tape and reflective detailing, so these are built to take a beating on the road. Storage has also been expanded, with dedicated internal compartments and an expandable front pocket for cables, tools, and all the other essentials that accumulate on tour. Both cases are also compatible with MONO’s Tick 2.0 and Tick+ 2.0 Accessory Cases for extra flexibility.
“Modern musicians move fluidly between instruments, genres, and creative environments,” says Gerald Hooper, AVP of Channel Sales at MONO. “With these new dual cases, we’re bringing the full M80 Classic Ultra experience, including premium protection, thoughtful storage, and effortless mobility, to players who demand more from the gear that supports their craft.”
